Last March 30, 2012, one of the most important phases of my life ended but I know that a new chapter of my life begins. More obstacles, adventures and unexpected events await me.
4 years ago, I was asked to make a decision that would affect my future. I chose UST and I chose Asian Studies.
My alma mater never fails to remind me and make me feel that I’ve made the right choice. From the grand festivities, the inspiring professors, block mates, Thomasian values and education, the campus and haters to balance everything.
I may not be a school geek, a top-notcher, an officer, a famous student or whatever school stereotype there is. I don’t really care. What’s wrong with being ordinary? Though I haven’t been labeled as such, I am proud to say that I did my best to help the Artlets by being a board committee, I made my parents proud by achieving that 1.75 average and never failed in even one of my courses and most of all I’ve found real friends along the way. I lived, learned and survived the Thomasian life in a Thomasian way! :)
And with that I can say that I truly am proud to be a THOMASIAN ♥

Baccalaureate Mass 2012 ♥
I seriously don’t know what to say. Four years of stay in the University went by so fast and words could not express how grateful and giddy I am to be a Thomasian. Thank you UST for serving as our second home for 4 years. For all the grand festivities, Thomasian values and quality education. Four years ago, I know I made the right decision of choosing you. ONLY YOU, UST ♥
UST, I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART!

Had our thesis defense and it was a success! It’s as if we just had a reporting but the difference is, we’ve done it in front of the panelists. At first, we thought that we’re having major revisions but after Sir. Dals gave us the paper where he listed his revisions they’re all minor revisions lang. THANK YOU, LORD ♥ Konti nalang, hello graduation!!! :D

Since our thesis is about the re-emergence of the Marcoses in Philippine politics, we’ve decided to interview both a Marcos loyalist and an anti- Marcos to balance our study.
Last Monday, we’re very lucky to be given enough time for a sit-down interview with Mr. Satur Ocampo. To those who doesn’t know him, he’s a journalist during Ferdinand Marcos Sr.’s regime. He was one of the thousands of people who got arrested and tortured during the Martial Law. It’s an honor for us to meet him and hear his experiences first hand. We’ve learned so much from him and enlightened by some facts that our hidden to the Filipino people. Thank you, Mr. Satur Ocampo! :)

Interview with Senator Bongbong Marcos :)
(Source: mothereffer)
For the past few months, we’ve been very busy because of our thesis. I’ve been sending letters to Senator Bongbong Marcos’ office since last September for us to be able to interview him. We wouldn’t want to go for an ambush interview because it is very informal and we’re carrying the name of our school so we want it to go on a formal and right process. So after months of sending interview letters, follow-ups and patiently waiting, his secretary gave us a schedule BUT unfortunately, Senator got sick the day that we went there and the Senate will be on recess for a month. His lawyer advised us to go for an ambush interview since that’s what everybody’s doing so last week, when the Senate resumes we went there hoping to interview him.
THE SENATE OF THE PHILIPPINES: MARCOS’ BABIES EXPERIENCE ;)
Never thought I would say this but I am loving the Senate and the people in it.
Who wouldn’t love a centralized building full of media and kind people?
Senator Marcos’ media staffs are so kind and funny! They even let us watch Senator’s interviews which cannot be found on the internet nor watch on the television because they said there’s no way we could have a sit down interview with the Senator because he’s busy with the impeachment trial.
Gained friends from CSB who are having their OJT at the Senate! Hello Mich and Paolo!
Entertained by Senator Escudero’s staff and he even treated us merienda.
Saw almost all the Senators in real life! :)
The experience is really awesome! Though for those 2 days we weren’t able to interview Senator Marcos, I will not say that we’ve wasted our time because we didn’t! Meeting all this people makes this thesis adventure worth the time and effort! See you again on Tuesday! ♥

Marcos’ babies at Senator Marcos’ office. :)

With the Senate President, Juan Ponce Enrile. :) Saw him at the BACK DOOR where visitors aren’t allowed. HEH. Thanks to Mich! :)

Alay watching the interviews at Senator Marcos’ media room :)

Media outside the session hall! :D
Here’s the good news for us! After the trial, we weren’t able to see Senator because he went out using the front door and we’re waiting at the back door because that is where most of the Senators are going out. Sir. Eki, Senator Marcos’ Chief of staff said that we could have an interview with Senator Marcos on Tuesday morning!!! :) See? Who said that we just wasted our time? SEE YOU TOMORROW DADDY B! *fingers crossed*
