22nd month ♥

We had our dinner, walked around Solenad and Nuvali fields then went home. We usually go out on a date like this the only difference is, it’s the 1st of the month so it’s some kind of a celebration.. but no, not really. HEHE :>

Since it’s only the two of us, we took each other’s pictures. Haha :p 

 

Actually, May 1 isn’t only our 22nd month but also, it has been 2 years since I’ve known that he liked me and 2 years since everything started.

FORGIVE ME FOR THIS MUSHY POST :)

Last March 24, we both attended the wedding of my cousin, too bad he wasn’t there during the ceremony but I would like to share my favorite part of the groom’s vow…

“Bago kita makilala, nagdasal ako kay God na ibigay sakin yung perfect na babae. Yung ideal girl, pero nung dumating ka narealize ko hindi Niya binigay sa akin yun.. hindi dahil sa hindi ako masaya sayo, naisip ko wala naman talagang perfect na tao sa mundo.. and you’re all that I have now”

Nakakatawang isipin na andami natin hinihiling kay Lord. Wala naman ngang masama na hilingin kung ano at sino yung gusto mo makasama but God knows kung sino talaga yung nararapat para sa atin at madalas hindi sila yung tinatawag nating “ideal guy”. 

It’s been 21 months and yet the fire is still burning. I didn’t know that we would last this long. Dave isn’t my ideal guy. Hindi siya athlete, hindi macho, hindi maporma, tamad mag-aral. Siguro if there’s something na tumama sa standards ko yung height niya lang yun. But we still managed to be together. We’ve been through ups and downs. Separated and still come back to each other’s arms. Nag- aaway, magkaiba ng mga gusto at paniniwala and it just shows that opposites attract.

There are lots of people criticizing our relationship. Some would say we’ve shared the bad attitudes instead of the good one. We’re so close to each other and stuffs like that. Pero naisip namin, ganyan naman talaga karamihan ng tao.. Walang nakikitang maganda. Di mo alam kung naiinggit lang. But one thing’s for sure. TOGETHER, we’ve learned to voice out our opinions and accepted our mistakes.

I’m happy that God gave me Dave. Such a loving, caring, sweet and supportive boyfriend. I can’t see myself with anybody else but him J

Health is Wealth ✔

If you are my friend, definitely you know that I am such a weak, unhealthy sicko girl and because of that, part of my new year’s resolution is to take care of my health condition. How to do it? Simply eat on time, try to eat vegetables, water therapy, work-out or jog when I have time and get enough sleep everyday. So last Saturday Dave, Lui and I decided to start our first work-out day. 

Early this morning, it has taken its effect :) The 3 of us can’t move properly because of body pain but it feels good at the same time to know that you’re actually doing a great start! And hopefully, we’ll be able to do it the whole year. :) So tomorrow’s gonna be our second day!

We were asking friends to come with us but since it’s New Year, nobody wants to. Fortunately, Jen’s family also went to EK that day. 

Had my first EK-streme ride! :) It was the most breathtaking 5 seconds of my life.

Dave’s comeback was very timely because Dete had her Manila flight so we were able to go to Mandarin again to bond and also a time to catch-up with each other after 4 1/2 days of no communication! :D

Dave gave me 2 shirts, an evil skin for my BB, red watch and a cute yellow purse as his pasalubong! ;) We spent the night together, we ate dinner at World Chicken. We were supposed to watch Praybeyt Benjamin but unfortunately tickets in all cinemas of Greenbelt and Glorietta were sold out up to the last full show! Funny that I narrated to him the first book of Hunger Games and it lasted for almost 2 hours! Because I was trying to explain every detail of the story. HAHA! So there, happy that you’re back! ♥

Look who’s changing? :) These are Dave’s grades for this term. After slacking off, he finally realized that he has to be responsible and study hard. After all the discussions, advice and fights. HERE COMES THE NEW DAVE :”> NO ABSENCES, NO FAILING QUIZZES! :D
